Earthshine is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Points and streaks earned in the app have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may change or be reset at any time.
If you upload a photo to the shared sky or as your profile picture, you confirm it's yours to share and grant us a limited license to display it within the app. Don't upload anything unlawful or that you don't have the rights to.
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not post nudity or sexual content, hate speech or symbols, harassment, threats, graphic violence, or anything illegal, and you may not abuse, harass or impersonate other stargazers. Content that breaks these rules is removed, and accounts that post it or behave abusively are banned.
You can report any photo with the ⚑ report action and block any stargazer, which hides their content from you. We review reports within 24 hours, remove offending content, and ban the users responsible. Uploads are also screened automatically, and we may remove content at our discretion.
Prebuying the eclipse tee reserves your shirt and helps fund the first production run. Production begins once the stated goal is reached. If the goal isn't met, prepayments are refunded. Merchandise is sold through our web checkout, not through the App Store.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Earthshine is not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app means you accept the current version.
